The basics of the Clone or Rubber Stamp Tool by Morphmonger

The clone tool is the easiest way to cover or replace pixels in an image. This tutorial will give you the basics on how to start using the clone tool. As with any tutorial the best way to master a tool is to use it. Practice using the tool several different times and ways to learn the full utility of the tool. On this image I thought the tattoo was a bit distracting and I wanted to remove it. Rather than contacting the model, having her undergo laser removal and then reshooting the picture I went with the clone tool.
