Step #3;

Block out the background colors. Can be pretty rough at this stage, just so you can see what's happening.(Shown here at 40% opacity)

Now, on a different layer I begin by blocking out all those bits of the suface that are going to reflect itself- here in the dark grey. This is admittedly the hard part.. all I can say is look at a lot of shiny cars or other reflective items to see how it works. You need to know the shape of the thing you're drawing, and how the 'eye-rays' bounce around. It takes a little practice but comes after a while. obviously the surface is going to reflect itself where two bits of it come together a la between the legs- between the wrist and the hip etc.

Use the same technique to represent the other 3 elements in the environment. Remember things like the purple and red almost never touch, so they are never going to touch as reflections either. There is also going to be a lot of space that is the black bit- here left white, which will represent the remainder of the environment.
