Going through Bust Artist's archive for the last gallery review, I found a link to a very interesting and controversial thread on the BEA Forum, entitled State of the BE Union, started by DrEnlarge. Click here to read it. After the hour or so it took me to go through this very long and thought out thread, it made me think alot about it, but instead of replying to a 6 month old thread, I decided that I should put it here, in my own gallery.

For those of you, who don't want to go and read this thread, I can sum it up for you. Basically DrEnlarge was talking about how BE, as a fetish, is very secluded to say the least. That there are no movies, not pornos you can rent, not even full length comic books that induce BE. All we get for BE is short little 10 second clips in movies (Leprechan 3, Faust of the Damned), maybe a quick shot in some anime, and any BE that we can find on the few BE exclusive websites (Overflowing Bra Story Archive, Inflate123, BEarchive, etc). DrEnlarge also said that in order for the B-movies where a girl has to deal with aliens infalting her breasts, or comics about a guy who can enlarge breasts with his mind, we as a community would have to spend money out of our back pockets and produce these things ourselves. This brought up the subject of mainstreaming BE and the controversy was brought up by Thunderchild that mainstreaming it would in fact destroy it. And the other point was brought up that BE, as a whole, is a fetish so popular because it IS free, because it doesn't take much more than a few hours out of a day to create.

How many fetishes do you know of where you can find over 5000 stories dedicated to just that fetish? How many fetishes can you find such a HUGE support for, both "pornigraphically" (the want for the fetish to get you off) and intellictually (the want for theorizing scientifically how BE would work)? How many fetishes do you see in weeknight TV programming, in commercials, and non-porn movies?

The answer to all those questions, is pretty close to none. BE, while not as loud and obvious, as say, S&M or Asians, is very publically OK'd for the media. The problem with BE, is that it is not mainstreamed. Meaning when someone watches Leprechan 3, or just about any Benny Hill episode, and see some girl's breasts getting blown up, they don't think "Wow, and some people actually get off on that?" because the average person doesn't know that there ARE people who get off on that.

To say that you can't find BE outside of our little BE sites is a lie. The biggest example of BE you can find anywhere? Big Bust porn stars. How many of you remember when Elizabeth Starr was a B-cup? Then when she got her E-cup implants? And now her O-cup breasts? Isn't that expansion? Sure, it's expansion on a very drawn out level, but the human body and today's technology can only support that so far. And who's always the first to publically exploit girls breast enlargements? Jenny Jones. As far as I'm concerned, Jenny Jones is our key to mainstreaming BE. Almost every other day her topics revolve around big breasts. If I didn't know any better, Jenny Jones probably visits the BEArchive and gets off on it too. The girl is just crying out for bigger breasts. I say we need to write Jenny Jones, tell her about this site if she doesn't already know about it, and get some of the big bust stars that support our fetish, and some of the people who've been involved in this fetish to go on the show and get BE publized.

BE would not be destroyed. It would be strengthed, considered normal. Full length novels could be found in Barnes and Nobles. Movies would come out featuring lots and lots of BE. Just think of what people thought about naked girls in magazines before Playboy came out. People aborred it, but secretly wanted it. What Playboy did for naked girls, we could do for BE. We need to stand up, we need to be proud and not hide behind our keyboards, our online aliases! I want you all to join with me, so that we can make this a better place, a place where we don't delete our history to keep from your significant other or friends!

My name is Joshua Erb! And I love breast expansion! And I am not afraid to admit it any longer!
