Today is it. The D-Day. The BA Day to be more exact. Because today we're going to look Bust Artist's gallery, which has been there ever since I had been a fan of the BEArchive.
Having not been able to contact Bust Artist yet for an interview, we're going to look at and review his archive from the main page on in. So make sure you use the bathroom, grab a pop and such, because we're going in at full speed, and there's not pit stops along the way.
The first page we come to is oviously the main front page. And according to the front page, as of 12/23/2002, the last update was June 12, 2002. So okay, he doesn't update alot anymore, but with his grOw comic in the works (we'll get to that later) and just moving to a new house with his lovely wife, JulieKat (the lucky dog) he's probably more than busy with things, and when he updates, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
The next page we visit is the FanTITies. FanTITies are where BA (Bust Artist) takes real pictures, morphs them, and adds a story, or fantasy to them. The overall effect is quite well done. He currently has 3 pages of one picture FanTITies and a page of FanTITies sequences. The thing that seperates these morphs from anything other, besides the addition from text, is BA's ability to morph and add other objects into the picture, other than breasts. Example? Let's just say that the BE Transmorpher in picture #22 looks alot like a Polaroid Camera :D
The next page is Enhanced RealTITies. This is where your "standard" morphs are kept. This page hasn't been updated in awhile, but in my opinion morphing pictures standardly isn't his strong point. His art is where he really shines, but we'll get to that in a minute. BA has 2 pages of RealTITies and one page dedicated to LaTITa Casta. While she is good looking to say the least, I don't think, with the exception of one, that any of her pictures really provided a good template to morph.
The next area is Paintings. He has 8 paintings and 2 painting he did for the BEHavior webzine. My favorite of his paintings is his X-Files one, because it shows my favorite kind of BE, cloths bursting. Again, nothing entirely new here, but it's his classics to prove to be his best work in that field.
Then we come to his drawings, which I think is his best area of BE. His drawings are richly detailed and shaded, paying close attention to how clothing works on the human body and their sometimes "enormous" proportions. His newest update was just earlier in this year, so it's good to know he's still doing these.
The Funnies section house 7 little "chicken window" style comics. For those of you not familiar with those term, its those one panel, physical and spoken joke comics, like those "Far Side" comics. These are nice to download and put on your desk at home, my personal favorite has to be the one about the thermostat.
We now arrive at the Comix section, which is the first piece of BA work I ever remember seeing, his "Wishful Thinking" comic, which he created over 16 years ago! The comic is split up into 46 strips, and BA tells us that that's not the end of the story, however he's probably not going to continue it. The reason for that brings us to our next section...
Specias. I don't know why BA calls this section the Specials. It should be called the "I'm going to tease you with all this really awsome stuff that I'm currently doing and you're going to check back everyday just to see if I put more stuff up and then my hit counter goes through the roof and I have power over you all" Section. The stuff on this page absolutly rocks. First off, there's the much anticipated "grOw" comic, which is about a salesman who sells a promise that his product will make the cows produce more dairy, but a girl happens to drink it! And then MY personal favorite to anticipate, is the NaviGirl 4 movie. I just can't wait. The trailers by themselves are very well done and interesting, but with the addition of the Bond soundtrack, it just got me hooked. So lots of very good things to look forward to.
All in all, Bust Artist has been there since -my- beginning, and for good reason too. He is very skilled at what he does and his dedication to the BE fetist is unparalelled. One day I hope to meet Bust Artist face to face, so i can shake the hand of a BE genius.
