In the last article, I spoke of when I first happened across the BEArchive. It was the
oddest thing because I wasn't looking for the BEArchive, nor breast expansion.
In fact, I had never heard of BE before the Archive.
I remember hearing at work, and from an issue of Gamepro that there was
a site called Nuderaider. Well that got me interested in erotic
cartoons, so I looked up a bunch of stuff with a search engine.
To this day I still don't remember what site I found a certain piece of art,
but it was done by a Tekka Maki, if memory serves me correct. So I went to his
host site and saw the BEArchive Webring logo, the picture of the woman
in pink with breasts overflowing her blouse.
Some stirred in me. I was hooked. I had to see what this BEArchive was.
So I clicked on, and Lo! And Behold! The Archive in all its glory. I remember calling
into to work sick the next day, just so I could have all day to browse through all the galleries.
I don't remember how many there were, but it wasn't the vast enormity that it is today. The User Gallery
had about 30 to 50 pages of 15 a piece, and The Bust Artists' gallery was brand new, so now that I think about it,
that was back in '99. Damn I feel old.
So when I sat down to write this article, I wondered how everyone else happened across the BEArchive. I was told there
used to be a FTP site that some people consider the original 'BEArchive', and when it shut down everything was moved to here.
So I guess I'm gonna ask for a poll of sorts. Just go to my Forum area and leave me a bit about how
you found out about the BEArchive. When enough people have posted, I'll put up the results.
