The NaviGirls: What were the NaviGirls you say? They were the hostesses of my gallery back in the old days of the BEA (and even before). I was inspired by the many Japanese website artists out there who had a "main girl" (for lack of a better word) on the home page of their galleries. I wanted to something more — somehow, making them interactive. When I first created NaviGirl #1 (Amanda), I kept it a secret that something would happen if you missed clicking on the navigational panels she was holding, and clicked on her instead. Eventually, someone did — and word got out. Ever since then, each new NaviGirl had a secret. Where does the name come from? It was more apparent with Amanda, but these girls helped you "navigate" my site.
